Another high-profile pizza place from Brooklyn has opened in Singapore (10 Bayfront Avenue #B1-45), with its original being a Michelin Bib Gourmand. They use a sourdough crust that comes out crispier than a Neapolitan, but it was also a bit dry. I almost want to say that it was more dry than Lucali's, although I've only had one slice of that (and the poor man's version of it at that), so I don't say it with much confidence. Either way, I was a little disappointed, yearning for places like L'Operetta, Yeast Side, and 4AM instead. I'll still come back to try some of that straciatella and cultured butter that I saw on the menu though.
