The Smoked Duck Lor Mee from Singapore’s Kopifellas
I've noticed this small chain of kopi shops around the island and have always been curious. I became even more curious when I heard that it will be part of the upcoming Seetoh/Bourdain food hall in New York. So when I passed by an outlet at noon today, I figured that I might as well give it a try.
The focus of course is on coffee and toast, the former of which was fine. But there were some noodle dishes available, like this smoked duck lor mee. I liked it enough that I devoured it all. I don't know much about this dish, but the way that they did the thick spicy vinegary sauce reminded me of Taiwanese oyster mee sua.
