Miso ramen and I don't mix well. But IPPUDO is running this special right now, saying that it's "super popular in Japan," so I figured I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, I still don't like miso ramen.
Sure, the cacao-infused oil was kinda interesting, but one could hardly taste it after mixing it into the broth. Some of the chashu was tender at least, and the corn on the side was nice and buttery.
But that broth is just way too busy. Its saltiness overpowered everything, and it was slightly sweet too. I should've just stuck to that crisp dashi ramen instead.
