Local restaurant Lao Sichuan has opened up a couple of stalls next to
Piao Xiang at the
Food Republic at 313@Somerset. It mainly pitches
Chongqing grilled fish, but they also do other dishes like this
liangpi above. Fortunately, they didn't dilute the food: it is all very salty, spicy, and greasy, in a good way (their red chilli oil is spot on, and I've got a nice residual burn lingering on my lips right now). We'll be coming back frequently when we need an easy
Sichuan fix.
