Le Café Vie5 (L'Vie5) in Singapore

Beef Phở

The name of this place is a bit confusing, but I've been wanting to check it out for a few years now. I finally made it there after realizing that they had an outlet in the city (1 Raffles Quay #B2-02, 6420-2348).

The food is northern Vietnamese, including egg coffee as well as their version of phở, which even has a quay option. None of it was anything to go out of one's way for, but I liked how much care went into the ingredients, be it the fillings in the rolls or the reconstituted noodles above, which had the firm and rough texture that I like.

I also liked how many items were smaller in size, be it their bánh mì, nem rán, or gỏi cuốn,. It thus makes a great place for a snack, and I'll need to remember to try their salted coffee next time.
