This place is kinda interesting for a number of reasons, one of which is its weird operating hours of 8 PM to 5 AM. I tried coming here once at its opening 8 PM dining hour and there was a huge line, so today I came over after a long night in the office and was seated right away.
The other thing that's notable about this place is that it is owned by the KAI/Homura folks in the same Orchard Plaza building, who in turn hired the chef from BK Eating House (although I guess it was a stall that followed Yan Kee?). He has since parted ways with them, but this place is still open.
While I don't know how true they have stayed to his recipes, I will say it was pretty good. They were very generous with the ingredients, which were of good quality. And they weren't afraid of throw tons of lard, vinegar, and chili oil onto the skinny mee sua noodles. Other noodle types were available too.
