This chain has been around for a decade, but I don't think I've ever eaten at one, in part because I had already been to the original stall at Adam Road. That was a very long time ago though, so I finally went to check out an outlet near the office this morning.
The quality was pretty good, with decently moist chicken and crispy ikan bilis to go with that long grain rice. It was nice that the begedil that I added was nice and warm too. The chili was sugary sweet, but at least it was potently spicy. I used it sparingly.
My only gripe - which is going to sound silly - is that single-use plastic plate that it is served on. If they aren't going to use banana leaves (or even a washable plate), then I might as well ask for the cardboard takeout box next time, even if I'm dining in.
