Here's another nasi lemak place down in Tanjong Pagar that opened up at the Ace Eating House right next to Wano Niku (243 Cantonment Road, 9383-5689). It apparently used to draw some long lines at its previous locations, but it was easy sailing for me today. Yes, I liked it better than Dickson, not only because it wasn't drowning in plastic, but also because of the long grain basmati rice used. I prefered the chicken batter too, as it was more focused on a savory taste than a crunchy texture. But this also wasn't something that wow-ed me so much that I'll be eating it regularly either.
