Friarielli & Salsiccia Pizza

Here's the friarielli and salsiccia pizza from Da Michele's Singapore outlet. Those dark blobs of broccoli rabe were the highlight, as they provided a funky mustard green-like taste to go with the bits of sausage. The rich cheese was fun to eat too.

I have also come to appreciate their crust a lot more this time around. It has a crunch but is still impressively chewy with a subtle hit of salt to give it a an edge. The big pies here can almost feed two people and come out pretty quickly despite it being a busy lunch hour today.

Side note: I was at Corner Bar L'Operetta on Boon Tat Street a few weeks ago and realized that their pizza is completely different from what is served at Holland Bar L'Operetta. The crust at the Boon Tat location is absolutely terrible and cardboard-like. It was quite a shock since I thought they were the same shop. Yuck!
