Ramen Toratake from Tokyo's Toranomon District

Shio Ramen

Toratake is a Tokyo-based shop known for doing a shellfish-based broth, and it was deliciously crisp and savory. The diced onion garnish and yuzu kosho paste provided an edge to go with the chewy noodles, and I liked it. Yes, I'd go back for it, although interestingly I'm not in Tokyo right now.

This was from Iguchi in Singapore (96 Tanjong Pagar Road, 6235-9110), which is offering it for lunch. I'm not sure if the ramen was from a boxed kit, but this place is actually from the Himonoya folks after they left Robertson Quay. The service was pretty bad today BTW, and the exterior decor is discouragingly tacky.
