Yum! This place was pretty good, particularly that green thing in the midddle (442 Orchard Road #01-01). Called pind da saag, it was made of spinach and mustard leaves with corn, butter, and ginger. And it was deceptively spicy, so much that they provided little chunks of jaggery for you to bite into to offset the heat. It was salty and earthy too, going great with a gritty cornmeal-based flatbread called makki ki roti. We also had a few other things today, including a fish tikka that wasn't as fresh as it could be, but I still ate it. What's interesting is that they offer two different types of butter chicken; I'd like to try the spicier Pandara Road version next time.
