I was very curious about this place near the top of Bugis+ (201 Victoria Street #04-06, 6908-4181), as it is a chain from Shenyang in China near the Korean border. That meant barbecue, but with a Chinese influence, including a sesame paste dipping sauce and dry chili powder alongside kimchi and ssam wraps. There was a pretty wide selection of meat available, all plated very nicely at that. It's too bad then that a lot of things were very heavily marinated, covering up the natural tastes that I prefer. The portions were surprisingly small, and I left the place unsatisfied. Well, it was a notch up from Meow Barbecue downstairs at least.
