Punjabi Sarson Da Saag from Mustard in Singapore

Sarson da saag de makki di roti

I haven't been to Mustard in a long time, so I was delighted to come back for that awesome macher paturi. The bigger highlight today though was this cooked mustard green dish above. We were told that they were an acquired taste, but I like the slight bitterness of mustard greens. It came with some flatbreads made from corn; they were much tougher than Mexican tortillas but were still fun to eat with the onion, chili, and jaggery. I liked this much better than their kosha mangsho, whose mutton was a bit tough.
