This place is pretty cool in that they are only open for a few hours a day (107 Jalan Bukit Merah #01-1820, 9863-4647). There is no menu, and there was no payment signage either, so I guess they are cash only. But as the name suggests, they serve porridge, and a more watery one at that. That said, it was still decently savory, peppery, and rich, especially when an egg is stirred into it.
More notably, they put a generous handful of watercress in there. It is a bit of an odd fit, but I like watercress so I was rather delighted. It also turns out that their minced pork bowl includes liver and intestines, neither of which would have been selections that I would normally opt for, but ended up being nice additions to make this bowl more exciting.
