It’s been many years since I was last at Man Man Unagi, so I’m not sure how long that he has been serving this. But the thought of some nodoguro sounded great for lunch today. The good thing is that it was indeed a nicely tender and fatty piece abive. But the portion was pretty small, and it came out in that ridiculous plastic castle box that he also uses at Kai Kai. To be honest, I was pretty embarrassed when this thing was served, and it wasn’t cheap either. Next time I'll stick to those cheaper lunch sets.
