This shouldn't have been a surprise, but Salt Bae has a restaurant at Istanbul Airport! It isn't his upscale Nusr-Et steakhouse brand (even though the staff uniforms have the logo on them), but instead I think it’s meant to be his more casual Saltbae Burger, especially seeing how burger-focused the menu was.
Well, they still had some steaks, so I got the lokum tenderloin, which was more delicate than I thought it would be. But it’s also what you’d expect of a global chain trying to capitalize on a celebrity's name (they even had a section of the menu where burgers and steaks were wrapped in goldleaf!). I don't need to go back.
