Casa Dani at Mercado de la Paz in Madrid

Pincho Tortilla de Patata

Sorry for the photo of the mostly-eaten tortilla above, but my other photos looked worse. Well, this shop (28 Calle de Ayala, 915-75-5925) is famous for their tortillas, with basically everyone at the counter grabbing one. Unlike those free ones from last night, these were much silkier, with sliced potatoes oozing out of it. Indeed, I tasted more potatoes than eggs in there. Anyway, Mercado de la Paz is definitely the best of the various other "markets" around. It's small, but it's more focused on produce rather than dining, unlike places like San Anton, San Ildefonso, and crowded San Miguel.
