Those probably don't look too appetizing, but I was delighted that Turkish Airlines was serving those grilled meatballs above, completed with buttered rice, marinated zucchini, and strained süzme yogurt. Some of the other items that they have served on various legs of this trip featured things like börek pastries with spinach, as well as a chicken kabob complete with flame-grilled white onions on top. I'm increasingly liking the service that Turkish Airlines provides, especially when considering some of the local specialties at the lounge tonight like cute little manti dumplings tossed with yogurt and spices.
