Breadfirst Everyday's Larb Tophats at Singapore Grand Prix
I keep running into these Breadfirst guys at festivals, and each time I walk away happy with their larb-modified dishes. This time, it was kueh pie tee filled with larb instead of the usual popiah mix, and it was exactly the salty, spicy, sour thing that I needed to top off my belly tonight, especially with that gritty rice powder.
I also learned something new out of this: it seems that kueh pie tee are known as "tophats" in Malaysia, and that's how it was listed on the menu tonight. The staff kept calling it kueh pie tee after I ordered it though. This was one of the better things to eat at F1 this year either way.
