Melbourne's Good-Edi Cups via Puzzle Coffee
A small coffee chain from Melbourne called Puzzle Coffee opened an outlet at ION Orchard late last year. The coffee was fine, but the thing that drew me here was their edible cup option, which comes from another Melbourne-based business called Good-Edi. It's pretty neat, as it's made from oats and grains, and is way sturdier than it sounds, with the wrapper saying that it lasts for eight hours. Of course, it literally tastes and feels like proverbial cardboard, but it isn't that different from some of the rye crispbreads that I keep in the cupboard on standby to go with cheese at home. I might just get it again out of sheer fascination with fabricated food products.
