10 Butchers Korean BBQ in Sunnyvale, California

Ribeye

This slightly upscale place caught my eye with the words "homestyle farm-to-table grilled meat" (595 East El Camino Real, 408-720-8889). The food ended up being the best meal that we've had on this trip, featuring those deliciously thin strips of American wagyu chadolbagi as well as that juicy prime ribeye above.

The biggest surprise was their bibim naengmyeon, whose thin noodles were dressed with a good amount of pepper and other earthy spices like cumin, if I tasted it correctly. That dish alone is worth coming back for, and fortunately, they are happy to do half-portions when you order meat.

The service was friendly and the banchan spread was generous. Interestingly, they didn't provide ssam wraps nor garlic by default, but they did provide two types of salt as well as giant mounds of dressed white and green onions. A5 Miyazaki is available too if your wallet can take it.
