I had never heard of this small chain of
Hokkien mee stalls, but the "super spicy" label on the chili sauce pulled me in. And it was indeed spicy, with a fun splash of citrus in there to give it not just acidity but also fragrance. The dish really was
reliant on the chili though, as the noodles weren't particularly
savory on their own. But I'd eat it again if it were in front of me.
