My First Taste of Nakano Bussan's Miyako Kombu

Nakano Bussan's Miyako Kombu

I saw these at Daiso today but had no idea what they were aside from the description of being "sour kelp." I thus picked up one out of sheer curiosity. They turned out to be paper thin chewing gum-shaped strips of kelp lightly coated in a white powder, which is what I think is what gave it a silghtly sour taste. They were kinda like dried Chinese huamei plums (or even mo far kor), but being without being as sweet nor salty. They were addictive enough that I cleared the three pack pretty quickly.
