TamJai SamGor has expanded to a more central location at Chinatown Point (133 New Bridge Road #01-01, 6223-1167), and I wanted to give the Chongqing SamGor suanla broth a try. Not to be confused with the other hot and sour soup available, this one was pretty potent at a "mild" level 7, both in terms of acidity and heat. It's fascinating that the "mild" and "moderate" levels start at 7 and 8 of 10 on their spiciness scale. Next time I really need to take it down to level 5 or 6, which interestingly are called "2 mild" and "3 mild" respectively.
