Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine in Singapore

Wok Fried Kway Teow with Diced Kai Lan and Preserved Radish

On the grounds of the Chui Huay Club is a big restaurant run by the Jumbo folks. It's open to the public, and is fittingly named Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine (190 Keng Lee Road #01-02, 6732-3637). The menu looks like it's designed for big banquets, but fortunately one could still order a small portion of chye poh kway teow to go. It was deliciously smoky and seasoned just right, making that all disappear into my belly in minutes. It was assisted by some red chili oil that I had at home though; I might not have eaten it so quickly had I used those pickled green chili pepper slices that they provided.
