One could make a number of
American Pie jokes about this
chain from Korea, especially since their first item above is even called Mom's Thigh Burger. But I was surprised to find out how much I liked the food, as the chicken was extra crispy and pleasantly laced with a bit of heat in the batter, even without ordering the spicy version. That makes it a worthy competitor to Popeye's
awesome sandwich (I didn't realize until now that Mom's Touch even has a "New Orleans Style" tagline). But the mayonnaise was sweet, plus the bun was lousy and the iceberg lettuce was an annoying distraction. Next time I’m here, I’ll try to get the chicken on its own then.
