Sushiro's current list of specials includes quite a few things at the moment, including
straw-roasted salmon from Hokkaido, smoked salmon from Aomori,
mentaiko with
yuzu, and those surf clams above. All of them were what you'd expect of
Sushiro: nothing to get excited about, but decent considering that each plate of two pieces runs for only S$2.20 (US$1.60), with the Hokkaido salmon going for a dollar more. I didn't bother trying that weird chicken rice-inspired
nigiri though.
