That probably doesn't look very appealing above, but it was delicious. It was a steamed xianyu roubing pork patty from a Chinese soup stall called Cai Ge that I randomly passed by on my way home (32 New Market Road #01-1112). It was tender, moist, and piping hot, sitting in a savory yet fatty bit of juice that was awesome when poured over a bowl of rice. I liked it so much that I ate it in less than a minute and immediately went back to get the other patty that she offered, featuring dong cai winter vegetables rather than the salted fish above. I liked them both, inhaling the second one in, uh, seconds too. Thumbs up!
