I finally had a chance to come here to get some real
Bedok-style bak chor mee (58 New Upper Changi Road #01-151). And it was *much* better than the ones that I've had
in the city, as it was neither too sweet nor too garlicky. It was well-balanced enough to let the taste of the noodles and dumplings (whose delightful stuffing was fun and multi-textured) shine through, and the meat was minced so finely that it was almost fluffy. Fortunately, the line wasn't too bad this morning either, presumably due to the rain.
