Beef Ball Noodles From Jieyang Chaoshan Airport
Jieyang Chaoshan Airport in China is pretty small, and there really isn't much to eat there. Indeed, there is only one restaurant in the international departures section after security. That said, I still wasn't sick of local beef balls yet, so I grabbed this bowl, which was the first thing on the menu. The balls were tastier than the handmade ones at Mingji, and I'm glad it had local rice noodles in the broth too, as they are firmer and skinnier than the soft and wide kway teow that one usually gets in Singapore. These noodles are closer to Vietnamese phở instead.
