Whenever I looked up places of must-eats in Seattle, these guys showed up. And fortunately, their original outlet (1521 Melrose Avenue, 206-501-4321) was next to
Sitka & Spruce, so I stopped by for a quick
dozen oysters before heading back for meetings. My favorite were the tiny local Olympia ones in the center; they were not just briny but concentrated and slightly metallic. I also got a bowl of a thin oyster stew to go with it. Now I'm thinking of coming back for those live
Dungeness crabs; they were nicely-sized at about two pounds each.
