One of our teammates picked this place, and I'm glad that she did (1101 4th Avenue, 206-624-7755). We liked everything that we ordered tonight; for me, those curried carrots above were the highlight, and this is coming from someone who has never cared much for cooked carrots before. The other thing that a lot of tables were getting was a whole oven-roasted rockfish, served with lettuce and kimchi for
ssam wraps, as well as basil, cilantro, bean sprouts, and even pickles. It was an odd combination, especially since the pickles were a tad sweet. But I'd come back for those carrots.
