This place (52 Amoy Street, 6221-1336) looked kinda interesting when we walked by it a couple of weeks ago, and today I had a chance to come by before heading into the office. It turns out that it is based on a hawker out in Joo Chiat, but modernized to suit the locale.
I got the pork belly version based upon the cashier's recommendation. Yeah, I liked the firm eggy noodles, and one can't complain about the pork either. But it's nothing that I'll get cravings for, as the chili sauce was a bore (i.e., not spicy) and the crispy pork lard stated on the menu was nowhere to be found. Oh well.
