We weren't supposed to be taking ANA today. But a delayed flight out of Singapore meant that we missed our connecting flight, so United rerouted us onto ANA out of Haneda instead. I wasn't sure if ANA were still doing Ippudo or not, but they were, and fortunately they were doing the tonkotsu version on this route. Last time, that shoyu version could have been any other random bowl, but this one really tasted like Ippudo, complete with nicely firm, skinny noodles and a fragrant bit of garlic oil. Yum...they should serve this on all airplanes. I'd skip those nasty trays every time.
