
This place may sound like a tequila bar, but it's actually a small chain of Turkish kebab shops that now has three outlets in the CBD, all within walking distance of each other. Obviously they cater to busy office workers, and employ the same paper form system that places like The Daily Cut uses.
Yes, that means that you can build your own bowl (yawn), but the very first item in the "base" section is the most important checkbox: homemade pita. Check that, and they will shove everything inside the pita instead. It wasn't as fluffy as the ones at Miznon, but it's good enough, and the range of ingredients is good too.
The set meal is so big though that I'll just get a la carte next time. At least those falafel in my set above were fried to order and thus had the right texture. And that little box of baklava was cute. I wonder what it will take for them to stock şalgam rather than just ayran.
