I'm a bit late to the game here, but Muji has a number of local popcorn flavors available, and I'm particularly impressed by the mala version, as it's spicier than I thought it would be. Not surprisingly, it's candy-like sweet too, but somehow it doesn't bother me. Maybe it's because it's salty too, making it hard for me to stop eating.
The label shows that it's from a company called The Savoury Nosh, which has its own lineup under the brand The Kettle Gourmet. They have flavors like chicken floss and pulut hitam, which is sold under the Muji brand too. But I guess the mala flavor is exclusive to Muji, and perhaps the nasi lemak and tom yam flavors too?
