This small local chain has been around for a number of years, but we never bothered to go there until today, as an outlet just happened to be nearby. And thus, I never realized until now that Detroit-style pizza has been available in Singapore all this while.
Or at least, they kinda pitch it as Detroit-style pizza. I think they might have previously just called it deep dish and presumably started framing it as Detroit-style so as to better distinguish it from the Chicago-style option that they also carry.
I don't know Detroit-style well enough to say this with much authority, but this certainly had a crispy cheese-lined crust on the sides that I liked. The New York style one that we ordered was fine too, but I'd rather go to Roberta's for that.
