Man, it's been ages since I've been to Nantsuttei (181 Orchard Road #07-12, 6337-7166). It looks like most of the menu is the same, although I don't remember them having an option for a smaller portion. They position them as "normal" bowls compared to the larger "Japan size" ones. Anyway, the small one suited me just fine.
I will say that this felt like a very old school bowl, especially since all of those bean sprouts and the relatively boring chashu weren't very inspirational (and there was no black pepper available to perk it up). At least the burned garlic oil gave it a pleasant earthiness, and it was good that they had a firm noodle option.
