Kiosko Italiano by Kucina in Singapore

Creamy Turkey Bacon Casarecce

There is a halal Italian place out in the east called Kucina that has gotten some traction for its chef's social media. And while I've never been to his restaurant, he now conveniently has a food court stall at the Food Republic at 313@somerset where Burgs was previously. I grabbed that "creamy turkey bacon" above, complete with its cheese wheel action behind the kiosk's glass pane.

It was better than I thought it would be, as those short and chewy casarecce noodles were fun to eat, and the turkey bacon was crisp and salty despite its oddly grey appearance. Now, the portion wasn't much, and I wouldn't go out of my way for this either, but I will try some of his other items next time, especially since his aglio olio and carbonara seem to be the things that got his online presence going.
