This is a small chain of restaurants that interestingly has most of its outlets within a few minutes walk of each other. Anyway, we stopped at one because they serve local food from Granada and Andalucia, with one example being that salmorejo cold soup above. It was a thicker version of gazpacho...to the point where it was almost like a sauce. It was pretty garlicky, but also topped with fun bits of ham and egg.
Actually, the thing that I really wanted to try here was a tortilla sacromonte. Instead of the usual potatoes inside, this omelette featured sheep brains and testicles. There was indeed a bit of an offal taste in there, but was not as strong as one might think. I'll admit that I prefer the potato version instead, although I can't help but wonder if other shops make a more exciting version of it.
