La Tartarería Raw Food in Barcelona

Seabass tartare

This little Michelin-listed place (26 Calle de Muntaner, 936-53-7980) serves tartare in a variety of forms and proteins. I went for a tasting menu tonight, which included multiple types of fish, shellfish, and beef. That seabass above was my favorite, especially with its citrused coconut milk spiked with a mild hit of peppers. To be sure, they still served a few cooked items, including tender Iberian pork slices plus a prawn head with some rich head fat inside. Either way, this was a nice break from the usual fare.
