This beat-up shop on the corner (42-6 Jeongja-dong, 031-718-2254) was pretty cool in the sense that the proprietors walked around helping you cook your dakgalbi using a big metal plate as a multi-purpose spatula for the grill above. The food was seasoned nicely, and there were bone-in segments in there that were surprisingly easy to eat. Plus, it was fun in that they gave little hard-boiled quail eggs in their banchan. We closed up this meal with the usual serving of rice to pick up the remaining scraps from the grill. My suit really needs a good dry cleaning now though, as that apron didn't help much.
