The chicken at this basement kiosk at
Great World (1 Kim Seng Promenade #B1-K124) didn't look too encouraging at first. The pieces were pre-fried and sat in a glass case before they threw them into plain white paper bags for you. But when I got home, I was surprised to find that the
batter held its form, staying textured without being heavy, and was also seasoned with a pleasantly salty edge. The chicken was moist, and I ate all of the pieces with ease. I won't bother with the spicy version though, as it's just heat without taste. The non-spicy one is better.
