This small
nasi padang chain was pretty good. I was happy with everything on that plate above, be it the greens, tofu, or eggplant, all of which were seasoned nicely and featured decent quality ingredients. The biggest surprise for me though were those black things on the far left: it was
paru goreng, or
fried beef lungs. And I liked them; they didn't taste of offal but instead like a strong beef jerky. And the texture was kinda like a moistened tofu skin, but chewier. I'll be happy to come back; next time I should pay for their sambal.
