Gourmet Park at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore

Signature Birria Tacos

I finally made it to that new food truck area in front of Universal Studios. The stalls were mostly just extensions of what one could get in town like Goodburger and Dickson, but there were a few that I hadn't tried yet, in particular a taco place called Lavi. They did a decent job of those quesabirria above, being piping hot, gooey and rich, and moist even. Sure, they used flour tortillas, but the consome was better than some of the ones I've had back home, and definitely beats the one out at Palawan Beach.

Smoked Beef Brisket Set

Blue Smoke was another one that I wanted to check out, as it was from the 1925 folks, a place that I've really liked for the way they've interpreted local dishes. It's too bad then that this brisket set was a total letdown. I was expecting something like Jett BBQ, but this was covered in a gritty rendang sauce, which was aromatic but sadly drowned out whatever merits were in the beef underneath.

Signature Char Siu Noodle

The most popular one this morning was Chun Noodle Bar, which has a main stall at Amoy Street Food Centre called Chun Feng Man Mian. It was upscale with things like roe and Iberico pork with a wagyu option. But otherwise it was a straightforward - if slightly sweet - bowl of char siew noodles. Its prices were higher than its downtown counterpart, but it was still one of the cheapest things that one could get here in this touristy area.
