Next door to Zheng Nan Qi Bai at Excelsior Shopping Centre is another chain from China, but one that specializes in hot pot (5 Coleman Street #01-01, 6908-0228). And that's specifically the chuan chuan xiang variety featuring ingredients on skewers. Indeed, the distinguishing thing about this shop is the gigantic wall fridge stocking a wide range of things, including some gigantic ribs and prawns, as well as cuts of offal.
Granted, I didn't really go after too many items aside from some interesting veggies; the prices added up so quickly that I was surprised at how much I spent despite taking so little. And the taste of the food didn't necessarily blow me away either. But it was good enough, and the selection of items in that wall fridge was pretty big, sitting in a cool retro decor to boot.
