This old school looking restaurant is seemingly out of place right in the middle of the CBD (17 Philip Street #01-01, 6336-2390). But it was packed and rowdy at lunch today, and I only realized after looking it up that it actually hasn't been at this location for very long.
Anyway, it's a
Teochew restaurant, serving things like braised goose,
pork aspic, and that crabmeat omelette above. The quality of the food was better than I was expecting, but I'd be a much bigger fan if the menu featured things like
yufan,
beef balls, and
ganchao shuiguo.
