I finally got around to trying the
laziji from
Qiu Jin Xiao Chao. It was spicier, saltier, and greasier than I was expecting, and in a good way. There wasn't much chicken in there though, as the pieces were pretty small, not to mention bone-attached. That made it more of a savory accompaniment for beer, had they served it here. I'll get it packed for takeout next time then, as I can slowly go through it at home with some suds.
