A rather upscale Moroccan place has opened on the former grounds of Cloud Sultan (18 Mohamed Sultan Road, 6690-7566). The menu centers around tagines and pastillas, neither of which are cheap nor fast, but the portions are meant for two people to share. I was a fan of their tanjia lamb shoulder starter, which were extremely tender and served in round cromesquis form. Those "gazelle horn" pastries above were our dessert, along with Moroccan tea, the former of which was perfumed with orange blossoms and the latter brewed up nice and minty without being too sweet. I'd be interested in coming back here to try their Friday couscous meal, but yeah, I need to remember to go in a group.
