That plate of pad thai looked nicer than it tasted, as it was syrupy sweet, and kinda soggy too. But hey, it's not like I could've expected much from this random steak-and-Thai place at Balmoral Plaza (271 Bukit Timah Road #01-04, 6235-5110). I honestly just went in because they had some pretty cheap lunch sets inclusive of a drink and side dish. Even then, the service was pretty slow.
